This Week: Fundraising Ideas
- Make a Self Donation – Participants who fundraise and self donate turn in 2.5 times as much money as those who fundraise alone – and 5 times as much as those who donate only. It is our 2013 goal that 100% of Bike MS riders make a self donation.
- Update Your Participant Center Page – participants who update their participant center page raise nearly 4 times as much money toward a world free of MS.
- Install Our Fundraise with Facebook App – Fundraise with Facebook allows you to schedule fundraising newsfeeds. Your friends can donate directly to your goal by clicking the links in your facebook post.

July is Cabin Fever Month!
Through the entire month of July, Bike MS teams will have the opportunity to win the use of Camp Kern cabins during Bike MS weekend. Starting Monday, July 1st:
- Casper Lodge #3 will go to the team that raises the most money online from July 1 – July 31. Donations must be raised online between July 1 and July 31, 2013 to count toward total. Maximum bed capacity is 28.
- To ensure we are not giving larger teams an unfair advantage – the two teams that have the highest and second highest percentage increase in online fundraising throughout the entire month of July will also win cabins. These two cabins are in, “main camp,” and feature beds and A/C for up to 12 team members. Donations must be raised online between July 1 and July 31, 2013 to count toward total.
Reserve a Cabin at Camp Kern for your Team or Family!
Cabins are available for rental for the weekend – at just $32 per bed. Think of the fun your group can have decorating a cabin, and sitting around a private campfire. Bike MS Registration Update
Congratulations to Team xpedx! Registration numbers show Team xpedx currently has 48 riders. This makes them the largest Bike MS: Venture the Valley 2013 team – so far. Close behind are Teams Pure Protein (44), Kroger Big Wheels (44), Fidelity Investments (41), and Gillette (40).
